Vinny’s notes ahead of this afternoon’s game

Hello again!

It has been great to see so many of our players on international duty over the last fortnight. Playing in massive matches all over the planet.

While we would have loved another chance to spend more time continuing the hard work on the training pitch with all the lads – we only look at the positives for any of our players representing their country.

Every match they play is another step forward. Another chance for new experiences and to represent this football club at the highest level.

This adds up and builds on the good performances we’ve been putting in that we continue to believe will get the results.

For this afternoon’s match we offer a warm welcome to David Moyes and everyone visiting from West Ham United.

Winning a European trophy last season was testament to how far David has taken them and a reminder of the tough test we face today.

As always, thank you for your continued support. It means everything to us.
