TUESDAY

Barnsley v Burnley | U21 Professional Development League | 1pm

The U21s kick off the week with a trip to South Yorkshire as the Clarets take on the Tykes at the Barnsley Training Complex.

Burnley returned to their league schedule last week with a 1-1 draw at Wigan Athletic following their Christmas break and will be aiming to climb back up the Professional Development League table having played the least amount of games (11) in the league.

The Reds currently sit third in the Professional Development League, nine points above the Clarets but have played four more league fixtures than Andy Farrell’s side.

SATURDAY

Brentford v Burnley | U21 Premier League Cup | 12:30pm

Fleetwood Town v Burnley | U18 Professional Development League | 11am

A double-header academy Saturday begins with the U18s taking on Fleetwood Town at Poolfoot Farm before the U21s travel to Brentford.

Tony Philliskirk’s side face 9th placed Fleetwood, where a victory could lift the Clarets to third in the league table.

This fixture will be the final preparation for the youth team before Burnley take on QPR at Loftus Road on Monday night in the FA Youth Cup fourth round.

Lunchtime then sees the U21s continue their Premier League Cup programme with a trip to Brentford.

SUNDAY

Burnley Women v AFC Fylde Women | County Cup Semi-Final | 2pm

Although Burnley’s FA Cup run came to an end on Sunday, the Clarets have an opportunity to reach the final of the County Cup this Sunday.

Rebecca Sawiuk’s side host Fylde at the Anchor Ground in Darwen where victory over Fylde would book Burnley a spot in the final.

Supporters wishing to attend this Sunday are able to with free entry for all.
